Interactive and Hybrid Learning for Children

The aim of the interactive educational platforms introduced at NEA GERMANIKA is to ensure that our language centre keeps pace with modern educational trends and that the children who study with us develop into highly qualified and competitive individuals.
The Envision interactive education platform uses interactive hardware technology that includes an interactive whiteboard, a computer, a multimedia projector and individual mice for the children. These are used to complete educational tasks displayed on the board.

With the help of the other online learning platform, based on the Moodle system used at NEA GERMANIKA, the traditional, static and passive approach to teaching is transformed into a modern, innovative, dynamic, interactive and engaging learning experience for children.

The system enables ongoing communication between children and their teachers. When necessary, learners can use online chat and video chat to communicate with their teacher in real time. Through forums and blogs, children studying at NEA GERMANIKA can discuss various questions and topics related to their learning and exchange information with one another.

In addition to independent study, testing what they have learned and continuous communication, the platform also allows exams to be conducted in real time.
At NEA GERMANIKA, it is used for what is known as “hybrid” learning. Essentially, this means alternating between face-to-face and virtual learning. A key feature of hybrid learning is that if most children find a task assigned for independent study on the online platform difficult, the teacher will return to the challenging topic in the next face-to-face lesson, explain it again, provide a new practice task and help the children catch up on any gaps in their knowledge.
In practice, there is a continuous “switching” between the online and real-life learning environments.
