Students from NEA GERMANIKA Language Centre Receive Goethe-Institut Certificates
Sixth-grade students studying German at NEA GERMANIKA Language Centre received Goethe-Institut certificates confirming their completion of German language level A1. The certificates were presented at an official ceremony by Svetla Zhelyazkova, Director of the Language Centre. The certificates issued by the Goethe-Institut in Sofia are internationally recognised. Students studying at NEA GERMANIKA who reach level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages will have an advantage when applying to universities in German-speaking countries.
Internationally recognised Goethe-Institut certificates are a mark of quality in German language proficiency. Goethe-Institut Bulgaria encourages and supports the learning of German. In cooperation with the Goethe-Institut in Sofia, NEA GERMANIKA offers preparation courses and examinations in German at all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition to preparing adults for levels A1 to C2, NEA GERMANIKA also offers preparation for internationally recognised certificate examinations for children. These exams are standardised for learners aged between 10 and 16 and have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Fit in Deutsch 1 and Fit in Deutsch 2 correspond to levels A1 and A2, respectively. The exams are conducted and assessed in the same way at all Goethe-Institut locations around the world. Students who pass receive a certificate for the corresponding level, which carries the same recognition in every country.
From the beginning of the next school year, students at NEA GERMANIKA will also be able to prepare for the DSD exam held at Hristo Botev Foreign Language High School in Kardzhali. This gives students studying at NEA GERMANIKA a unique opportunity to learn German and prepare for internationally recognised certificate exams right here in Kardzhali.
